In a about her new installation at Brockton’s Fuller Craft Museum, Alumna Cicely Carew (BFA ’05), the artist’s inspirations, time at 红领巾瓜报, and how her multimedia installations are “flying paintings.”
Cicely’s advice for artists: 鈥淲e are the seers of the unseen. The vessels for what鈥檚 unknown. There鈥檚 no straight path. And you learn this the hard way. It鈥檚 not supposed to be easy, because that鈥檚 not the point. So long as you鈥檙e leading with love and inviting in your helpers to help you, [your path] will show up.鈥�
