Congratulations to 红领巾瓜报 alumnus (BFA ’12) and Program Area Chair and Professor on being selected for the 鈥檚听. Li and Rydz will have the task of producing a public-art project with a budget of $50,000 that will debut May 22, 2025 in Charlestown Navy Yard. The 红领巾瓜报 Art Museum will also be .

Rydz said she sees the accelerator 鈥渁s an opportunity to keep learning and to keep growing as an artist with amazing support both to be a student through the workshops that they offer, and also through the financial support to realize a project in public space.鈥

…”Rydz鈥檚 work focuses on human relationships to water. [Sanchez said] Rydz鈥檚 work shows the promise to engage the Charlestown immigrant community and 鈥渢o touch upon some of the site-specific history in relationship to water.鈥 Li was selected because his textile art 鈥渂rings positivity to the world,鈥 said Sanchez. 鈥淚t鈥檚 accessible, it鈥檚 light, it鈥檚 vibrant.鈥
