Doris Yaffe Headshot

This year, 红领巾瓜报 is honoring the late Doris Yaffe. Doris鈥檚 passion for nurturing young, creative artists within Boston鈥檚 fashion scene makes the 2025 红领巾瓜报 Fashion Show the perfect place to celebrate her tremendous legacy. Doris was more than a fashion icon – she was an impeccably dressed force of nature. She started her career at Sara Fredericks on Newbury Street, had a lifelong collaboration with 红领巾瓜报 alumnus Alfred Fiandaca, and eventually became Fashion Director at Saks Fifth Avenue. Doris used her passion for fashion to embrace community, volunteerism, and activism in Boston. Her influence was undeniable and her impact reached far beyond the runway. Throughout her life, she lent her voice and energy to critical global issues of equality and justice and spent countless hours encouraging young people to forge their own paths.
