My work at my partner site has helped me become a more conscious educator, and I enjoy learning from the youth just as much as I enjoy teaching them. Kaitlyn Murray ‘26 BFA Art Education

About

We employ ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ students to be productive citizen artists and designers. Through PartnershipWORKS, students work with mission-driven community programs as designers, illustrators, art teachers and more.

These placements are grounded in respectful, reciprocal relationships. ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ students contribute their art and design skills while learning from and alongside community partners.

Every month, students employed through PartnershipWORKS come together for sessions facilitated by CACP staff. During these gatherings, we build community, engage in meaningful dialogue about social issues, and explore our local neighborhoods. These sessions provide students with opportunities to cultivate cultural humility and grow their capacity to reflect and ask questions.

Community-engaged practices support ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ students in developing skills that enable them to responsibly engage in and with our world.

Our PartnershipWORKS sessions have been great due to the energy and engaging community. Hearing from CACP alumni during our sessions has been great, and given me a lot of hope for my future.
